“After going through the divorce and dealing with some hard things with my older daughter, I finally came to realize that if I did not relinquish control and give everything to God, then my life would never be what it should be. If we give our life to Jesus and truly let Him lead us, we can overcome our worries and overcome our trials. Two and a half years ago I had a brain tumor and I had it removed. If I did not have the Lord, I would have been a wreck. I had the greatest peace. I was not scared at all. It was in God’s hands, no matter what happened it was going to be OK.
