Angie

"After waiting to meet up with family members, I arrived at the scene of a deadly accident. I really didn’t want the answer to the question I needed to ask the trooper that was diverting traffic. The answer was hard. It was my mother, father, daughter and niece that were involved in a head-on collision at highway speeds. Neither of my parents survived, and no one knew the condition of my daughter and niece since they had been life-flighted to a hospital with a level one trauma center. My choice to trust in God and keep my faith allowed me to press on through my darkest trial. The loss was overwhelming. My sister and I had lost both our parents. We each had a daughter that had just graduated from high school. Those girls were both fighting for their lives in the same intensive care unit. My life had been turned upside down, but there was no time to fall apart. I had no choice but to press on. As I dealt with the reality of this horrific event, I learned about and witnessed numerous miracles. God had clearly been present throughout the entire ordeal. It was never easy, but by the sufficient grace of God, I was able to get through each challenge. My name is Angie and I surrender."
