HUMANS OF SURRENDER

1. Hear the Gospel (Romans 10:17, John 8:32)

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

2. Believe the Gospel (Hebrews 11:6, John 20:31)

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

"but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name."

3. Repent of past sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30)

"I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."

"Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,"

4. Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:10, Matthew 10:32)

"For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. "

“Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven."

5. Be Baptized (Acts 2:38, Galatians 3:27, Mark 16:16)

"Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

"For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ."

"He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."

6. Be faithful unto death (Hebrew 10:26-31, Revelation 2:10)

"For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” [a]says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

"Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."
