“A semi slammed into our car and it rolled three times; I was in high school. He had a stop, but unfortunately his brakes didn't work. The car was upside down; I was blacking in and out. I crawled out and went to a farmhouse. I survived with only a scar under my lip.
There was another time. My wife noticed something odd about my breathing. I have a CPAP machine. I was turning blue, and I wasn't breathing. The ambulance was just around the corner and they got there in time. They all came; Fire Department, EMS, and Police. Someone with the crew spent 27 minutes on me. I don't know who it was. I died twice. Once for about seven minutes. One of the guys just spent time outside on our patio praying about me. Everyone asks what kind of supernatural things went on. I really didn't have anything out of the ordinary happen, but I felt confident in knowing I didn't hear from the bad side. I did have an experience a few years earlier where I was going through a difficult time. An angel appeared in my living room and consoled me. There was no verbal action, but just the presence and knowing that I wasn't dreaming. It was a very good experience for me and I realized that things were going to be all right.
God gave me extra time, but that doesn't mean he's going to give everybody extra time. God orchestrated all of this. I can tell people, ‘Hey, get it right because you don't know when you're going to die.’ Trust the Bible even more than any Godly person, even a pastor. Explore what God says and pray to God that He will reveal what He needs to do for your life. It's important to have people that support you and build you up, but it's also important that you do some work on your own. It doesn't matter if you've been hurt by the church. God is there for you. He loves you. He's real. Philippians 4:13 encourages me, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” My name is Jerry Q. Hutchinson, Angel 95 FM, I’m human, and I surrender.”
