"Before I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I was married to a witch doctor for five years. God blessed me with a son. Our families wanted us together. There was a lot of pressure to see us together. I was working for a tribe that gave me lots of gifts and food all the time; they wanted me to marry this man. I was so miserable in this marriage. During our marriage, I came to know the Lord. I never worshiped the evil spirits my husband would bring in. I was suffering so much by the things that were happening in our marriage. When I first accepted Christ, I didn't even know how to pray. Today, I know how to pray and choose to love and serve others. I love singing and being active in my local church. Through this situation, God taught me endurance. It is unworthy to compare our suffering to the suffering Jesus went through. This life on earth is so short. We must put our hope in Jesus.
