Areema

“My mom and dad passed away from cancer. It was tough. I grew up in a time when there was war between the Thailand government and the Communist Party. We built a bomb shelter. I was a part of the Mo tribe. A missionary from Finland shared the Gospel message with me, and I was adopted into their family as I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was a Lisu girl and had to relearn the Thai language. I finished high school and went on to Bible school. I married a man who later abandoned his faith in Jesus; we got divorced. I trusted God through the entire divorce, and He continually provides for all my needs. God is my hope. We get to experience the love of a father through God. Jesus is our hope. My name is Areema, and I surrender.”
