Ralph

“I had broken some ribs. I didn’t know until later that one of them stuck into my heart. I jumped over the side of a one-ton truck bed and tripped. I did a belly flop onto large rocks; I could hear and feel a crushing sound. I was 67 at the time. My son called 911. I remember the operator asking him about 3 times how old he was, because he spoke as an adult. He gave them precise directions and phone numbers. The Lord kept him calm. He was 10 years old. He got a hero’s award from the police department for handling the situation like an adult. I got to the hospital. This doctor showed up and said, “we have to get you out of here, the helicopter has landed.” They had given me 3 liters of fluid; I was bleeding internally. They stuck me in this mini helicopter where your feet are right next to the pilot. I started to panic because I’m claustrophobic. I wasn’t scared because I believe and I know I’m going to be with the Lord when I die. I started praying to the Lord. I said, Heavenly Father whatever Your will be, but I would like to live long enough to raise my son and see that he gets a good start in life. It was like an instant calm came over me, I instantly got relaxed. I felt His presence of His Holy Spirit. The bible says He will send you a comforter, John 14:13-20. The comforter was with me in that helicopter. If you want to go to bed at night and have sweet peace without worry, turn your life over to the Lord, Proverbs 3:24. He will give you total and complete peace for eternity. My name is Ralph and I surrender.”
