Omar

“I was the wretched son. The voices in my head were saying ‘you’re not good enough, you’re not sufficient, you’re unworthy of the trophy.’ I walked away as a prodigal son. I fled like a lost sheep and came back as a servant, a slave, and a wretched man. I was in bondage. I came before the Lord with a repentant heart. My Heavenly Father welcomed me back as a beloved child. He brought forth his triumphant mercy and love. He said, ‘My grace is sufficient for you.’ He whispered in my ears, ‘I love you wholeheartedly. I've knitted you in Martha's womb (Martha is my mother). You were wonderfully, beautifully, and fearfully made.’ God numbered the hairs on my head. He searched me and He knows my heart. He knows your heart, too. The King of Kings is always good. At times, I am tempted, I am led astray like the lost sheep but the Lord always finds me. ‘The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.’ Exodus 14:14. Does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains to go and search for the one that is straying? Guess what? He always does. His grace is sufficient. You don't have to be clean to come to Jesus. He's chasing after you, whatever that may be. The main thing is He loves you. Praise the Lord Almighty, the Triune God, the Emanuel, the Son of God who brought forth the Father through His Spirit. To Him be the glory. My name is Omar and I surrender.”
